Default BULKHEAD REPLACEMENT MATERIAL?

what material has someone used to replace the bulkhead in a 23. have priced 1/2 inch black starboard and it is a little pricey.also how do you get the saw blade marks off the side of the starboard iuse to cover tye console.

Talk to Captain Chuck....he replaced his bulkhead with extruded foam. He used to have a starboard bulkhead.....

Have you considered teak?? Metan Marine did a $70,000 restoration on a 23 last year and the new bulkhead was made out of solid teak...looked beautiful.
