Default I maybe a SC owner again, a little help

I have found a 76 MA 20, looked at it tonight but being dark and all, boat seems in amazing shape and seems to have avoided the dreaded Fla sun somehow. The gel coat looked amazing good and the motor coweling didn't show any sun damage either? meaning just a good compunding and it would look great no apparent scrathes even the decals are good. There has been a floor repair done in front of the console but seemed pretty good, solid but being dark- nice T Top & box, nice Alum trailer. The transom seems solid although at the top left motor mount bolt seems the gel coat is cracked-no visible cracks at the corners so seems solid but the motor would have to come off and that fixed, I presume its original so 20"? -- pricing problem comes with the power- 98 maybe 96 Merc 200- they are putting a new water pump in now but really the motor is the weak spot as far as I'm concerned- I guess what I'm asking breaking this thing down- 1000 trailer- hull 4500? motor 1000? I think I'm kinda close aren't I. Believe this or not, I know this sounds like Riply's, but the GF and I just mentioned an upgrade this Sunday so I started poking around everywhere- today I searched boattrader.com and this came up listed today- the boat is sitting 2 blocks from her house on the same street at the mechanic's house, too frickin wierd. On another note the mechanic bought the 23 I/O in St Pete that was a quick divorce sale I think was listed here. My best friend is in the biz Rude and Merc so finding an upgrade shouldn't be hard but looking for some pricing help on the hull. Dam I excited I might have a Sea Craft again and a MA, I sold them when it came out and they seem so scarce I never figured I get one, sorry for the length but remeber when LOL.

Update: The floor fix in front of the console looks good in the
sun, the top and floor were re gelcoated and a pretty good job, at least as good or better than I could have done, sides are have 1 scratch and are in remarkable condition. There is 1 hole in the gunnel- 2" that looks like an antenna was there before the T Top so I'll be back for advice the guy some gel coat left. Jeeezzz thats a big console but with the T Top can't change it. The motor will be the kicker if it checks out were in, should have the water pump done today, the transom looks original and has 2 small gel coat cracks at bolts holes and 1 bolt inside shows some pull thorugh on the inside, so the motor has to come off. I am confident there was some higher power at work for the boat to show 5/9 2 blocks away, 48 hrs after the 1st comment from the cruise director about upgrading boats, maybe there is some Angel hanging out in S Tampa that used to have one LOL

I will now have 3 boats until the other 2 go

Quite frankly I think its done, the motor ran fine in the tank and water test tomorrow, it is a 200 XRi it came of a bass boat apparently in Lake Okachobee (sp) so has seen alot of freahwater absolutely no salt or caca under the coweling, the model is supposed to be a bass boat hotrod engine at about 220 HP at the shaft, there were 327 MA's built it may be the fastest on the planet LOL.Will carry the GPS and get some numbers tomorrow, I'll be crush if it runs like crap but the guy talks like its fine so we will see.
