Default Not a seacraft, but need some ID assistance

A real good friend of mine owns this boat and it is titled as a FleetCraft. It has had a ton of Mod's done to it and it is in great shape. He's been looking for original information on his FleetCraft and has not come across one single "FleetCraft photo, or any information. Our thinking is, that it is some other type boat. Looks like an old Albamarle hull to me, but who knows. Here's where I turn to some of the boat historians on this board. Any help would be appreciated, if you make no progress, at least you will have looked at an older restored boat!!!

Hull is 24' @ centerline
Looks like an Albemarle
Fast as hell with the braket and 250 suzy on it.

Thanks for the help.

That is a Formular F233 hull if I ever saw one. Nice find. I wonder which has had more boats splashed from it, the F233 of Seacraft 23?

Formula hull.... I though so too, but its too long for the 23/3' Formula, I think. It's 24' at the centerline of the boat. It's a 1p74 hull from what we know.

Here is a 74 Formula (I love this boat). The cabin is different, the hatch is different, the ridge on top of the gunnel runs the length of the boat on th Formula but not on this boat...Weird. Transoms aren't the same.

The NADA site shows a Fleet Craft/Flotilla Corp. It has a 24' Fleet Craft poduced in 1972 and 1973. No pictures.

Good Luck

I wasn't talking about the deck, just the hull. Not sure what to tell you about the length. If they changed the transom they could have easily added a few more inches. In fact the sheerline looks a little close to the chine on the fleetcraft compared to fintage which would indicate it was lengthened at the stern a bit.

Resembles an Anna Capri, or maybe Sea Bird to me. Although I can't say for sure its not an old Formula.

It's beautiful . . . Defintely a formula knockoff with a nice cuddy. Where's the cabin door? Looks like someone removed it with a sawsall.

Thanks for the info on finding lineage for my old boat. It's nice to know kind of how it came about and what hull it is based on.
I have been a lurker on this sight for some time now watching the progress of my friend's 23 tsunami. Now that the bug has bit me, I've sold my 21 Paramount and purchased a 30+ year old cuddy with tons of deadrise and lots of room..........My Wife thinks I have bumped my head. She wondered why I "Traded down" to a much older boat........As you can tell, she knows little about boats.
