Default How/where to not to cut?

Ok I have Skilsaw already to go as well as jigsaw if needed and am ready to get at it, am going to start with the floor, how much around the edge should I leave? My plan is to lay my new ply partially on what I leave allowing me to have a 3/4" channel around the sides of the boat, Good plan? I know I will have to pad the stringers 3/4 " to give me something to bond too, anything I should consider?

Boat is stripped clean! I have some good news, someone already did the floors I am going to have to cut a section out of the middle I think though due to a piece someone cut out to run wires or cables
