Default I'm building a very small wooden boat!

Hey gents-

Attached are some pictures of a small wooden boat baby cradle that I am building. My sister is having a second child so I thought I would be a good uncle and build this for my second nephew.

No, I did not build this from scratch. It is part of a rough cut kit....which makes it fun to build because you still have finish work to do. I finished installing the outer rubrails last night. Tonight, I will install the inner rails....and the knees. Then, I will install the rockers. Lastly, I will cut matching arcs in the bow and the stern. After that, it will get sanded primed, painted (or stained in certain areas).

For God's Sakes Fellowship, the kid hasn't even grown teeth yet! You don't need wire leader on the hook

Attached are the final pictures of the wooden boat baby cradle. I finished it on Friday night and gave it my new nephew on Sunday. Judging by the first picture....I think he found it to be quite comfy.

As expected, it tool longer than planned but I am very happy with the final results.

That's excellent! All he needs now is a small rod and reel and he's set!
