Might be looking for another 23

I have a chance to buy two year 2000 Opti-Max 150's with controls for a whopping $2,500 and the engines have about 350 hours on them. I'm toying with the idea of puting them on a 23, but I don't want a total project boat. If anyone knows of a 23 with bad power, or no power that is in decent shape, please let me know. Hopefully something in MA.

there was a 1986 23 in stuart fla with an old rude that is done. I have not seen the boat but talked to the broker a while back.he said the boat would go for around $10000.00 with no trailer.Im still looking for a 23 project,My offer of $5000.00 didnt go.I could look for his number if you are interested. Damn, What a good deal on the engines. I am looking at that price for a single 150 around the yards and they are a lot older than 6 years.

Leverette, thanks for the help, but I'm thinking $5K is about the max I want to spend myself. I don't want to be in this project for too much money. Deals are out there I can wait, or maybe just re-sell these motors.

good lord man never sell deals!!!!! the motors are paid for obviously or you wouldn't be hunting the hull. i paid 5000 for my 135 optis and i thought i got a good deal. sit on them motors they're not eatin nothin. direct injection power at that price is unherd of.
