OK, I couldn't resist. I'm kinda up in the air about whether or not to get it. But , I just sent the guy a message asking if it had been claimed yet. Maybe that will help me decide.

Nah, just kidding, half the fun of a re-do is to customize
to your specific needs. That includes doing away with the
cap. Go for it.

I agree, at least it would be in a true SC lover's hands. When I gave the 1960 original Moesly dual console to Ben he told me he was going to make a CC out of her and I almost didn't do it since it pained me to see her changed from her original configuration, especially since she was a one-of-a-kind model but if I didn't then it would have just deteriorated to nothing which is even worse.

I agree. I'm making modifications to the Seavette that will take away from the originality, and there were only 20 of those made, so be it. But I think that's part of what we do here, by taking a great boat, tweaking the imperfections, and making a truly custom/great boat.

Well, Mrs. GW204 is saying no more boats in the yard. I guess a 20' SeaCraft in addition to the 170 Aquasport I got three weeks ago would be a little much for her.



She wasn't up for a swap in project boats either.
