Default Seacraft Emblems?

I am desperately looking for the original style Decals for the sides of my 76 23' the ones that are black with gold and raised as well as the inverted "s" looking sticker,
Any input would be greatly appreciated! My project is nearing completetion and I am getting EXCITED

Unless I'm mistaken, the raised black/gold decals are from the newer Tracker boats. The older SCs (1969-1986) had flush black letters and the "S" was black and blue.

During my research I found that in 1975, the letters and "S" logo were outlined in grey. Also the "S" logo was not boxed. In 1978 and 1979 they were as you described and the "S" logo was boxed.

There is also some inconsistency regarding whether the black or blue portion of the logo should be up. I've seen it both ways in old photos.

I don't know when the styles changed, I simply had some photo's from different model years.

Roger you had yours made right? Where is that old thread ? They represent the Potter Era well. I am just about ready to order some.

You can buy the raised black and gold decals from a SeaCraft dealer as I did.-PFs

Thanks PF I hadn't thought of that. I just love the way the black and gold look, and with the off white color of the hull it would look good, besides most of my savage project is not very original. The transom is enclosed and crowned with a 30 gal lighted livewell, and a bracketed yamaha. The console is larger then oe.

Part numbers for the new decals:

04L-46791 Used on the SC20-SC25 Approximatly 16" long x 5" high.

125619 Used on the SC32 Approximatly 24" long by 8" high.
