Default Cracks on the topside

Hello again. My 20ft CC has two slight cracks on the topside (left and right sides) toward the front. They are located near one of the openings very near the top of the cap, right above the rod holder cavities. They look like the boat may have absorbed a tremendous amount of upward pressure on the bow, maybe like big, big waves. Flex cracks if you will.

How serious could this be with regard to safety? I think I can grind the cracks down and then glass over it, followed by paint. Is it serious enough to mess with or should I just leave them alone until some major work is due on the boat?

Also, on the top of the cap, about 6 feet from the bow and on both sides, there are some spider cracks that the previous owner painted over. Should these be just ground down, and painted or is it recommended that I glass that also?

Thanks.
