Default Mercury 200 EFI water pressure problem.

I have a water pressure gauge and the water pressure jumps up and down alot. I have replaced the water impeller and housing. Any thoughts?

Remove the tube and blow air through it. More than likey a piece of trash lodged in that tiny tubing.
Also did you replace the pop-it valve???

The pressure will vary between idling and running at cruising speed. My Optimax runs 3-4 psi at idle and 12-14 psi at cruising speed. Does the motor over heat? Also check thermostats.

You need 7-8 lbs at cruise, and 3 lbs at idle at a minimum.
