There is a 150 Johnson with a jet pump lower unit for sale in my area. Anybody ever put an out board with a jet pump on a 20CC? Sounds interesting I wonder what the performance would be like? I use the boat off Cape May, NJ. Any thoughts?

Jet pumps are great in shallow water, or debris-filled water. But you have an immediate 30% power loss. A 150 hp outboard will only produce 105 effective hp through the pump. Add that to a deep-v, and it is an inefficient combo. Great on flat-bottom skiffs, though.
