Anti-siphon valve stuck/clogged or clogged tank vent.
My guess is they loosened some junk up, and it's the anti-siphon valve.

Pull the anti-siphon valve out and throw it in the trash. It is a check valve in the bottom of the fuel pickup tube. One thing I know for sure, if that is what it is, it will do it again and again . As long as the fuel line and carbs/efi are higher than the top of the tank, you don't need it.

Yo . . . Young1 - The problem isn't the motor. The check valve/anti-siphon valve is on your fuel tank . . . NOT on your MOtta. They go to sh1t all the time.

If you don't have a check valve on the tank . . . then your vent (on the TANK) is blocked.

I replaced my check valve with a regular 3/8" brass nipple . . . but the check valve provides you with some level of saftey if you're motor caught fire. Fire will supposedly only burn back to the check valve.

Right-On Tim!
Since he lives in Fl and by chance his SeaCraft has been sitting around, I'll betcha one of those Mud Dobber Wasps built a nest in the vent line

BTW: You need to keep the "O-Ring" on the fuel fill cap lubricated. The gas will dry it out and crack. Then every time you wash you boat or it rains, guess what enters the fuel tank
