Default shifter

ok i need some help here again i was putting new rails on and i had to take my shifter off well i put the new rail on and now i have no forward and reverse. i can put it in gear and manually put it in gear but the shifter will not put it in gear did something break i cant figure it out everything was working fine before. So any input would be appreciated!!!!

everything is attached i cant figure it out could something have broke inside?

Is unlikely. Try disconnecting cables from motor and check shift operation. You might have the throttle and shift cables switched.Also make sure the neutral throttle isn't engaged on the control.

how do i know if it is neutral? and if it is how do i get it out? Like i said it was working fine before it came off now it dont work. I kinda messed up when i went to pull it off i pulled the three screws out and the bottom plate came off and the cables came out so i put them back in didnt think it was a big deal. and now i have this delima!

i finally got it it jumped neutral when i took it apart so i found the correct position and im in geart now. No more crown and cokes for me!!!
