Default Removing paint from stainless steel

I recently acquired a decent stainless prop that has some sort of thick, ugly paint on it. Can anyone recommend a chemical method to remove it?

Any stripper I've ever used has never harmed stainless steel. Usually the black painted ss props lose the paint with use and it doesn't hurt anything, the manuf. just doesn't have to polish it and charge you accordingly. I'm in West Ashley and would like to check out your boat sometime.
