I want to start buynig the material now so I can have it ready to go! Thanks in advance for the help!

I redid the transom on my 20' sf. I started with one six gallon kit of epoxy from raka. That should get you through the transom for sure. You will probably need two kits if your doing the floor too. I have enjoyed working with the epoxy and wouldn't want to have to deal with the fumes of polyester resins. I have found the raka epoxy to be great stuff and much less expensive than other brands. -will

i didn't know vinegar removes epoxy. That by itself is a reason to use it instead of polyester. Epoxy is stronger and bonds better.

I didn't use plywood for the transom. I used one 4' x 8' sheet of coosa board that was 1 1/2 inch thick. I did use one sheet of plywood to recore all of my hatches. I think it was 7/16" non treated. For the transom you will need two sheets of 3/4 inch plywood - at least that is what a majority of people use. As for the floor, I dont know. You will have to take a couple of measurements to determine what you will need. -will
