Those were an option on the 20' hulls in the late 70's. Nice to have if you spend much time offshore in a stern heavy boat w/20" transom!

we had it on our 78 20 ft master angler but we decided to remove it in favor of it being more open; not sure if it was the best idea or not. However, our transom was 25 inches and not the standard 20 inch transom.
