Default splash rails

my 71 sf 20 has teak splash rails. are they original equip or did somebody add them?it hssn,t been in the water yet, long ways off.would it be best to reinstall them after restore?

NoBones loves his and they were factory. If for some reason, you don`t want them I sure do!

DO NOT.... I REPEAT...
Do not take them off !!!!
They deaden the re-entry on every wave you take.
Tape them off and go ahead with your paint job.

They are the best thing on your boat..

Curses, foiled again.
65 Bowrider said NoBones was the best riding 20 EVER.
I suspect the rails have a lot to do with it.
Ken, have you any thoughts on smart rails?

I have seen them Sandy... They just do not look as nice.
IMO Teak rails are the only way to go..
I have been in both 20 & 23's with the teak rails.
They do make a difference !!
