Subject: Stolen $400,000 boat- 2009 Everglades 350 LX
Date: Friday, October 10, 2008 2:19:45 PM [View Source]

<<...>> <<...>>

On Monday October 6, 2008 between 10pm and 1am a Dark Blue truck came to our property and cut through 2 stainless steel chains to get through two fences and stole our 2009 Everglades 350 LX. This 2009 Everglades 350 LX is a 35' cuddy cabin boat with Triple Yamaha 350 outboards, this boat is rare and hard to miss. The boat's sides are blue, it has a large hardtop with an upper station that can be folded down or possibly taken off. The boat was on a very large triple axle Float On aluminum trailer labeled "Float On". Attached are pictures of the actual boat that was stolen. As many of you know we are a Family owned and operated business, this boat was unfortunately Not Insured and the package is valued at $400,000.00. Please forward this email to everyone and anyone you know. Please print the below flier and post them anywhere you think it may help or pass it along. We are offering a $10,000 reward to anyone who helps us get this boat back. Please call any of the below numbers with any tips you have.

Thank you very much for your help,

Roland Kurusis

I have seen that boat, and it is a one of a kind.
My guess is they just wanted the motors. If I saw that thing going down the highway, I would definitly remember seeing it. It's probably parked within 10 miles of there.

Ouch! talk about a maalox moment, odds are I'll never be fortunate enough to own a boat of that caliber, that said it surely would be insured if it where mine.
