Default Zuke 250 owners

Time to repower and I'm leaning towards a Zuke 250 on my 23 sceptre.I would love to hear from any zuke 250
owners about their performance #s and reliability.
I would love to go with a 300 but man does the price jump way up with the fly by wire controls.
I saw that deal on THT for a New 300 w/controls in the crate for 13,900 but someone beat me to it.
I'm getting quotes from some local dealers now and would like to know what your bottom line was.
Thanks ,Jerry

2 weeks ago I got a quote from Ray Jr at the boat place in Naples/Ft Myers for an 08 250 four stroke for 11,500, installed with gauges, controls for $1500 more. can by extended for 6 years for $1 per hp. They will ship to you for $300. I ended up with a 300.

Great motor plenty of power for the 23. Cheap compared to other big block 4 strokes. I posted a thread when I first got mine with performance numbers. Do a search and you will find it.
