Default CSC Durney Key Gathering October 23,24,25

Ok The date is getting closer. The Island is Durney Key, it is a few miles NE of Anclote. There are two convenient ramps to choose from. One is Nicks Park next to Hooters.
http://www.copr.net/Nicks.htm You can Park over night here and it is usualy very safe. This ramp is just 10-15 minutes from the Island. The other ramp is up river at Sims Park in Down Town New Port Richey, about 20 minutes of idling from the island. There is a map at this link http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...PRREC/Sims.jpg
You can also park overnight here or you can drive to my house which is around the corner and a minute away at 5846 River Rd

We should be able to Bring our large Stainless Grill and we will have a large but Very quiet Generator with us, a Stand alone Shower / Bathroom set up. (you take your own bags away with you lol) Regular restrooms are available nearby at Sunset Marina for our use but they do not have showers. We will also bring 2 or 3 large tables for everyone to use.
We will also have our boat and 4 person Waverunner and tubes etc out there for people to enjoy. This should be a low stress lots of fun at the island and offshore fishing weekend. We will be bringing more lobster tails, and fish, and probably smoke up some Fresh pork or Venison, for chow.
Please let me know who is Coming, Where you want to park and if you need anything special. Also there is a Rental House available that can sleep up to 10, if you do not want to camp.
Please let me know ASAP if you want to help split the house which costs 160/ night . Otherwise we may pass on the house if no one needs it.
If there is an emergency etc My house is about 20 min from the island up The Cottee and we will probably make a trip or two to it if any one needs to use it.
The link and pics are here web page http://www.vrbo.com/235291

I was thinkin'.....NO way NoBones was going to let that opportunity go by!!!!! I'm not too good at casting a fly, however I'm good for 47', especially if in this case the wind is out of the East.

So far only one person has shown interest in the rental house, it runs 160/ night and another $20. for boat dockage/boat. If there are 4 or less occupants then the price is 135. plus the boats fee. if two people want to split it. Please let me know so I can arrange it. Also we were out there last weekend at the Island and there are several nice camping spots with some privacy, and 3 stone firepits. We have a good amount of Oak we are bringing to burn and it should be enough for any who need some.
They do have ethanol free gas at the local marina but it is 3.30 a gal.

Ryan, how about some more info on the house?? I remember this house offer from a few months ago, but I've burnt a few brain cells since then. In any case, I won't be bringing the SeaCraft it's in like 10 pieces. I would bring my Hewes Bonefisher and do some shallow water fishing and be happy as can be. The wife would be much, as in very much, happier staying at the house.
