Default SC 25CC fishbox question

I recently purchased 2003 25CC. There is a large fish box forward of the CC in the floor of the boat that currently drains into the mail hull of the boat, although, it appears that, at one time, there was a drain hose attached to the hole of this box that drained somewhere else. Also, there is a switch for the "fish box drain", however, I cannot find a pump to drain this box. Can someone help educate me on how this box was designed to drain, what the switch is for, etc.? Thanks for the help in advance.

i would say the switch is for a macerator pump which grinds the leftover ice, guts, scales and then pumps the "sludge" to an above the water line through hull fitting, probably the one closest to the box. The pump should very close, if not attached to the drain. They burn out easily, so the previous owner might have removed it and just drained it to the bilge. I'd get a new pump if that's the case.

It was an option that was not installed often. The macerator is usually located under the console. The hose was routed in the port side chase to a thru hull on the port side aft, in line with the other existing ones.

I was there today & didn't see a 26. They are setting up for a "boat show" so I assume they will have one out. I can grap a couple shots if you'd like. My daughter (2 1/2) insists to go see fishies & climb on boats once a week, I ain't complainin'!

When I saw the 26 at the show it was really nice and put together well, havent seen any on water. I think that dixie marine has one or two 26 ft 09's on their lot, but I havent seen anyone advertising any 2010 models. I dont think they are in production at all personally. Basspro does not advertise seacraft in any of their promotional stuff here in ft laud
