This happened Sunday (2/28/10). Interesting to watch the two tow boats... Sebatian Inlet Boating Accident

Wow, what a shame. Hope the man survives.

That's an impressive current ripping through there. Hard to believe the water temp is only 50 deg. I don't recall water that cold though anywhere in FL. Guess there won't be any snook around there for a while.

Looks like one tow boat & one Sheriff's boat but both are the right kind!

We drift fish at night through Sebastian during Snook
season. There can be up to 25-30 boats doing the
same thing with us. It is a fast moving current,
narrow channel and rocky bottom. You have to be alert
at all times in this inlet. Rule number 1, DO NOT make
a U turn in between the fenders.

That Sea Pro does not look 21ft. as the reporter stated...

I agree looks like an 18, sound was goofed up on the video but did it hit a piling? even getting along side one in that current might5 drag it under

water temps in Tampa Bay have been in the 56 - 58 range, getting back to 60 now
