Thanks for the info
I was just concerned!
Used to starting letters being SEC so it threw me off a little.
More questions
Obviously same molds etc as SEC?
Any major structural differences as compared to SEC such as stringers transom etc?
Thanks
-Fred

All appears the same with the stringers and transom, don't know about the earlier potters (SEC's)but the top cap has what I swear is the hardest wood on earth, took me 4 hours to put two additional rodholders in. Hull is rated for 500 hp but it gets a little squirrely near wot with 450.

Fred,

I understand that one of the old molds that Potter sold to SeaCraft Industries when he went bankrupt had a hook in it.

He supposedly told them about it and advised them not to use it, but the 23 in above picture that I looked at had the hook in it, I believe in the center panel on port side, so that mold was evidently used anyway. Don't know if any of the subsequent manufacturers used that mold. Denny

Could that hook be the reason my father's '82 Sceptre lists to that side under way? I don't think it's prop rotation because he has a right-hand/clockwise OB.
