Thanks. I may op for a bracket without the platform on it. I was hoping I could find a used one but they are never around when I need one.
Hopefully by December I will get started with the rebuild

Yeah that is a good deal. Thanks for the heads up.
I ended up buying the one in Holden Beach. Guess one good thing is its aluminum. Not real sure what the weight difference between an aluminum and stainless would be but every little 10 pounds here 10 pounds there adds up on these 20' with a four stroke. Trying to keep as much weight out the stren as well the whole boat when I get started on the restore. Looks like I am going to raise the floor 4 inches.

Yeah. Either way some scuppers or balls are going to be needed if you are going to fish in any kind of sea. I think in the sound and anchored at the beach raising the floor 4 inches would be right above water level with full fuel, 3-4 people, and gear. I am going to move the tank about as far forward as I can. Good thing about the MA is you can get away with raising the floor that high. I even considered 5 inches. I'm going to make the floor flush from stern to bow, so up at the bow the extra height is going to help out some.
Out fishing this past weekend with 3 guys, 50gal gas, 25gal bait tank under leaning post, gear and some good size swell with left over wind chop it really would not of mattered how high the floor was. I am thinking of putting a plug hole in the floor at the stern to drain what water that cant get out into the bilge then I can just pump it out. I guess I will make some sort of half inch or so drop down for the water to collect in.
