Default Any Patent Attys here?

I need some help with the verbiage on a provisional patent application. Just getting started. Looks to be a good challenge.
Cheers,

there are ways to cover yourself before actually applying, that way you can figure out if its worth spending 10,000K

I was always told to put any drawings and description in an envelope and send it to yourself. That way you have a sealed and postmark dated record of your idea before trying to patent or selling it. For a couple of bucks it can't hurt.

You might want to think about a patent. After the initial cost of patent do you have the cash or will the sales of a product produced cover the costs of protecting it? My dad did the patent thing and it was a waste. Legal fees consumed all of his cash and they stole the idea in the end.

Thanks All!
The Senate just passed a bill making the provisional app 100 clams so that`s a go. USPTO says a mail to yourself is worthless. I need help with the wording of the idea or intellectual property. This way if someone has a design that is different, but does the same thing, I`m covered.

My BIL is an investment banker and wants to make them in China. I want to make them here. As a BOAT toy, the profit is there without gouging.

I`ll Pm Keys Cruze

Cheers,
GFS
