Value of 1999 23cc
Guys;
Considering joining the Seacraft family. Not really a "classic" but considering purchasing a '99 23CC w/2006 F250. What's your opinion on fair market value of this boat? No trailer, light electronics, hull in "ok" condition, 150hrs on motor. Any feedback appreciated. |

post pics, check nada and blue book, what year yamaha 250? my guess motor books at 7-15 depending on year, 150 hours is nothing , you can get 3 to 4 thousand if you take care of it. I heard the late 90 models were built fairly well , stay away from the last production years 04-to 08 . Great hull design you will love it but do your research.

nada values motor 10=12k
hull is 12-14 k check transom for flex and hull bottom for damage and inspect thruhulls. ask if you can have motor check out and download data on the motor. i would offer him 20 and that would be a good deal if it all checks out. post some pics just my 2 cents. |

I currently have a 2000 23 ft with the original 225 opti. It is very hard to assess value in this market. Mine is in great condition and I have it insured for 25k. It has been a very good boat; very solid. You can always get a survey, especially if you question your ability to pick up on issues. When I bought mine I had a compression check done on the motor. I personally would not buy a used motor without one unless it is under warranty.
