Default new boat name. The " Carla Dee"

I have been trying to come up with a boat name since I bought the former Entourage last spring. My sister passed away last month and I decided that in her honor, the red boat would be named after her, the Carla Dee.
Big Easy, I have a question for you. Our boats are the same color. What color lettering would you recomend for the name on the transom?

I once had a all red hull. I liked while with a black border for the best contrast.
sorry for your loss

Saugeye,

I, too, am sorry about the loss of your sister, Please accept my, and I'm sure many other's condolensences.

That 'metalized gilded gold" with white or black border always looks sharp on red. It might be also due to the matter that my oldest son went to BC.

Hey Mikem,

Is that a 16' Donzi? It kinda looks like it could well be one.

Funny story with that lew I bought it represeted as a 18' donzi turned out to be a sutphen grand sport worth more. Turns out an expecting father needed to sell the boat to his friend with the promissory to offer it back to him first. But he didn't and passed it off as a donzi. Later I sold it to the original owner who was happy
meanwhile I thought I may have been stolen

Saugeye,My condolences on the loss of your sister.Naming your boat after her is a nice tribute.

I went with a sand color to match the the canvas work on the top.I was unsure as what to do for color but I think it looks good against the red.
I'm not all that happy with the lettering style,my buddy owns a sign shop and I wanted him to do the lettering as his artistic talents are top notch.
Unfortunately,he was away at the time,so he had one of his new trainees do it.I'm going to have it done with a different style letter font at some point.

Thanks Big Easy. I will go with the sand or the gold with black boarder lettering.
