ive fished the front side and that can get skinnier than the back when the tides rolling out, seen several boats get stuck waiting on the next tide. better have a full cooler and a magazine!

Here's a couple of pictures of my ex-Seafari 20 on Elliot Key floating in about a foot of water, outdrive trimmed up of course. You can see my 2 young grandsons next to it standing and sitting in the shallow water, and the Seafari is heavier than the CC model. So I think it's OK, the 20 should do well poling it in the flats.

Nestor, its hard to believe you parted with that Seafari. Great pics. Thats a fine looking rig. Did the guy that had it last ever sell it?

If you watch where you are going Flamingo can be done
Even a flats boat needs some water to get into. I have fished Flamingo many times in a 19 Dolphin open fish many time with no issues and this is not a Dolphin Flats its about the same size as a SC 20 Just watch where you are going Stay out in front ocean side but the back country has many deep parts that you can fish |
