Very wet and very fun. We had one as a kid and spent many hours catching flounder, sea-robbins and skates in and around Chatham. Eighteen Horse Evinrude, circa. 1956.

Our Mom called it the pre-wash machine! Dad would eventually learn more about boats, Both he and mom were from Pittsburg, PA and had a thing or three to learn. It was fun attending that school!!!!

Good luck with her! Smiles-

Gotta love Dory's. Although wet they can handle some pretty big stuff with their high free board. I have an old Steiger Craft "Hunky Dory" that I converted into a flats boat.

I'll try and get some more up Pelican. The metal work was just completed two weeks ago and of course I had to pull the boat apart again as soon as I got it back. I should have it bristol this weekend and will post some more pics then.

Until then here are a few before final welding.
