Default 20SF Small Re-wire

I have been dealing with a lighting issue that I have come to find out is due to my corroded fuse plate and wiring terminations in certin spots. I plan on fixing this by adding a new fuse plate and re-do some connections, my bildge pump is was starting to act up due to the wiring as well and I dont want to take any chances out on the water. I currently have a 8 bank fuse plate but the marine supply store i went to didnt have any in stock. This is what I am dealing with...

I bought these since they didnt have the 8 bank ones. Will these be ok ??

Any other suggestions ? I will be tackling this job during the weekend along with my Garmin gps combo install.

those will work fine. i like blue sea fuse boxes because you can use automotive atc fuses. i have 2 in both of my boats and had no problems with them. if the terminals are corroded you should cut back until you get to good wire and crimp on a new terminal with adhesive lined heat shrink. none of the wires look heat shrinked in your pictures. you might want to consider replacing some of the wires with tinned. i like to put dielectric grease on the connectors to help keep salt air off them.

Ditto the Blue Sea fuse blocks. They now also make them as a combo switch/fuse block.
Neater and easier to install.

Yea I love the blus sea stuff as well, but I am leaving for the weekend in two weeks and dont really have that much extra funds to spend on new switches with built in fuses. Eventually I will be buying an 8 switch paneltronics panel but this will have to do for now. Boating on a budget

Yup this sums up the start to my season. Had a bunch of stuff planned but my spring start up costs me $500, new upholstry $200, buff and wax $75. Its adding up quick. Didnt think it would cost me a grand just to get my season started.
