Default cobia tower on 23 cc

Looking for some input on anyone who has or has been on a 23 cc that has a t-top with upper station . Any input on how it changed ride, roll or pitch of boat with slightly higher center of gravity? thanks in advance.

My brother's boat has an "observation station" on his 25'er, no controls. It's really only good in calm water, in rough water it will beat you to death. I don't think it hurts the ride at all. It's amazing how much you can see with your eyes seven feet or so higher than standing on the deck.

When I bought this 23 it had the 2nd station already in place, only thing was that the binnacle up top was not connected to the binnacle on the lower station. The cables were run but the lower binnacle was a yamaha dual action, no way to connect cables, after debating the morse trwin s controls and the space needed in the box up top, I ran across a good deal on ke-4 electric controls that solved my issues, Just installed them last week! The station is not to high, you stand on top of the console. I can run all day from there and not get to beat up. I want to build a seat where the back rest is so I can relax when I'm scanning for fish. There isnt any added weight really or top heavy effect, no more so than what the t-top adds.

I have seen Travis' setup in person, before he installed the dual stations, and it's real sweet!!! Ran into his brother at Beer Can Island one afternoon and he told me they were looking at a dual helm system, turned out nice!

trave2 i like your set up a lot , but i need to be able to cast from up there to a cobia or big red drum, striper etc. it doesn't seem like you could really fish from your set up?

Donv does your bronlaw regret not having the controls up there , everyone around here says don't do it without the full station?

Thanks for any input.

The tower on my 20 SF works great!!
No reason it would not work on a 23!!
The way it is over the T-top makes for a smooth ride!
It easily comes on and off as needed with one person.
It is held in place with two sockets in the splash well then
two 1/4-20 stainless bolts on the frame of the top...
If you need more pics I will be happy to share.
