Default Raw water pickup install

Which way does the "screen " face forward or backwards?

I will have a valve and a 500gph pump attached to it then to the baitwell

Screen goes froward. In the middle panel port side. 3 feet forward of transom so as to let clean water get to the prop. It will ram my well while underway. Cut the threads on the pump as short as you can. Seacock or ball valve and wood pad for added strength and safety.

You can adjust the seacock valve so when under way your bait tank does not over flow.

Yes you can. I also added an adjustable inlet nozzle up top on the well. Most seacocks have tapered threads so you may have to taper the plastic threads on the pump as I did.

Those pump shafts are known to fatigue and fail so a valve is a must and easy access as well.

The tnt should plug into your harness to the motor. Under the lower port cowl on my rude.
