Which transducer?
Getting ready to install a raymarine e7d and need to order a transducer. I am going to go through hull but I didn't know which was the correct angle to order?

I have a PiranhaMax 160 fishfinder with a shoot thru ducer. My first ducer was triangular and it did not read. I just bought a puck and it reads very well. Supposedly, shoot thru ducers work best on single layer hulls. Good luck!

I went with a 20deg b60 ducer, mounted on the lowest part of the hull. Its a universal one that fits more than one machine, with a difrent pigtail. Call BOE marine and ask them if it will fit yours.

Patrick is correct! I've got the B164 20 degree mounted like he did and it works perfect.

Are these actually thru hull or shoot through hull?
I was thinking of the one. That actually gets drilled through the hull. I also looked at ones that mount in the hull but are not drilled through. Is there a difference? Which is better? Thank you |

Same here. It's true thru-hull mount.

So 20degree is the correct angle for a 23 center console? If any one has pictures of where there's is mounted could you post them? |
