I saw sea ray had a simm idea ecasing the outboards I like the idea but dosent look like you can trim the outboards up out of the water with the platform behind it .

Yeah, they had one of these at the St. Pete boat show, quite a few folks looking at it when I was there Friday. Between the cost of these new style boats, the $329k 27' Hacker Craft Tommy Bahama edition wooden boat, an "on sale boat show price" 250 Honda engine for "around" $20k....oh yeah, plus controls, $100k 24' bay boats, etc., I now know why I like my paid for 23' SeaCraft so much!!

I have to disagree, I think that is butt ugly IMHO.
Fishing around an outboard can be a pain, an outboard on a bracket is a little worse. That setup is impossible. That just looks too much like a clorox bottle to me.

UGH . . . this reminds me of a candle snuffer. Those motors need to breathe.
Also adds an additional layer of pain and suffering to service the motors . . . changing plugs will now take hours instead of minutes. Great of dealers |

Do they have steering hooked up to them? Looks like the mount is fixed with very tight enclosure area. Maybe rudders are behind them? Wonder if the will tilt up any too?

If you don't want to see the motors get a cover like a conch
