Default 1978 Sceptre with twin Yanmars

There is a 78 Sceptre with twin 140hp Yanmar diesels on Ebay.Pretty sharp.It's an Alabama boat.Just wondering if it's owned by a CSC member?

If thats the same one i think it is its black with yanmar diesels and mercruiser alpha drives. The alpha drives is the killer that is a headache waiting to happen. Alphas are not a very good drives for a set up like that they cannot take the torque.

I drive pass that boat almost everyday, would love to take it out and see how it handles with all that weight in the aft end. Thought about making an offer on it. Like Rustyntabatha said it has been for sale for some time. Instead of redoing my Seacraft I thought about buying one already done... I want a closed in transome with outboard/s on a bracket.
