SeaCraft rough water video

I figured I'd throw this out again in case anyone has had any updated info on this.Of course I know if they did, it would be already posted,but I had to ask.

Any new updates on the 1974 Seacraft rough water video that was talked about a while back?
I seem to remember someone saying that they were trying to contact Bruce Brown who did the original film.I would love to see this film.

Bruce Brown was supposed to re-release it. Don't know if that will ever happen.

I don't know how much information has been posted about this documentary, so I hope I'm not going to bore anyone.

I saw the video at the SeaCraft distributor's display at the Los Angeles boat show about 1974, not long after I bought my SF20. As I recall, it was two 23s, a Tsunami and a SF. The trip started in San Felipe, Baja California, Mexico, from where they travelled south along the west coast of the Gulf of California. I don't recall the southern destination but on the trip they encountered some pretty rough water.

As in other Bruce Brown documentaries ("Endless Summer" about surfing, and "On Any Sunday" about off road motorcycling) I'd say it was well done, and included some humor ... at least during the launching. I certainly would like to see it again.

FYI

Bill Potter had the film transferred to a CD. Last I saw him was when he met Mark & I in Stuart to see Mark's 20'. He was going to send me a copy......

but, then he made some life changes by moving to Alaska and I never had further contact with him
I know Don Herman has current contact with him.
Maybe Don would ask him for the CD ?

Thank you Mr. McGillicuddy for that excerpt. Now my hopes of someday getting to see this film, and my addiction to Seacrafts is getting worse.
Why I had to wait until I was an old goat to finally get and restore one. is beyond me.
I only wish I had done it when I was younger,had I known then what I've learned now(about Seacrafts),the twenty or so boats I owned would have all been Seacrafts.
