Default New to Forum

Preparing to purchase my 2nd Seacraft. First one was a 23 cc in 1976 with twin Mercruiser. 140's . My original boat saw a lot of duty off Va. & NC. Chasing billfish. We sold the 1976 cc to a party from New England. The new purchase is a 1974 original owner 23 cc coming out of Norfolk Va. Will pick up the new ride in mid Dec. For her new home in Venice Fl. Looking forward to interfacing with the folks here on the forum. Will post photos when the new ride arrives.
Capt. Gabe Kovacs.

Thanks DonV. I see from your profile that you are a near neighbor. What power do you have in your 23 cc ?

I've got a 2003 225hp 3.0 EFI Merc. Does a good job, except fuel mileage is not too good. If I had money and used my boat enough to justify the expenditure I would have a 250HO G2 eTec hanging off the transom. Along with the power, fuel mileage, torque, etc. I really like that the power steering built into the engine. Like the G2's displacement, it's only cubic dollars that's stopping me.
