Default 383 Stroker Fuel Consumption

This is the strangest thing...I swear I posted this yesterday, but I guess the NSA did not like it.

Anyway just useless information.

Fact: 383 Mecruiser MPI 350 hp.

Last years fuel consumption 2014 was consistent with the year before (only 3 months 2013).

MPG= 2.85
GPH (average) =5

I am happy with the numbers and the performance so far. I definitely would recommend this as a re-power to anyone that needs it.

IT - Those are great numbers. Thanks for posting this information! What do you have for a drive on the 21?

I have a carb 350 with vortec heads going into the 25 . . . I'm hoping to replace it next season with a 383.

More than sufficient ponys plus fuel injection usually works for the best in most situations.
