Default Water Ballast Systems

Pretty interesting to see the water ballast systems start to show up in smaller recreational boat hulls. Moesly designed the 25 seafari for one back in the late 60's. Around the same time Raymond Hunt was building a water ballast system (during his retirement years) in a Hiliner hull.

Now they seem to be popping up everywhere from wake boarding boats to fishing boats.

no matter how BIG your trim tabs they can only put out so much down force from the rear of the boat

Great reading there.
Guess I`ll have to correct some childhood memories.
Thanks for the post Tim.

There`s a Concordia on the hook over on the island side.
Prettiest puffah evah.
