Glass removal from windshield frames in Sceptre
Anybody got a good idea? I got 2 out but the others are very stubborn. Is there a chemical to loosen the double sided tape? Tricks? I need to get them out quickly as the frames need to be powder coated.

Razor blades. Slowly. Tediously. They'll come….

Haven't done it (yet) but here are some ideas if razors are not your thing:
Try acetone first Methylene chloride or methyl ethyl ketone would probably work but are pretty nasty - don't breathe it (use activated carbon/charcoal filters) or get it on your skin |

Hi Jeff,
May want to try a heat gun to warm and loosen the sticky. Think a lot of folks use that remove sticker goo as well as mirrors that are glued to the wall. Good luck. |

I used map gas and slow " leftover " urethane reducer. Also I realized there is a lot to frame removal. I got it done. Getting ready to spray Awlgrip sprayable fairing compound. Followed by high build.

Yep, sounds like a less than fun project. I have an entire spare windshield but am missing the center hatch section. Anyone one out there have one? I need it to complete my build so I don't have to scavenge the one I have.
