On my electric shift stringer, where the shift wires go to the intermediate housing there are scissor type disconnect connectors for each of the forward and reverse wires (also at the alternator regularor and a couple behind the dash). You slide the rubber sleeve back and fold then like scissors and they disconnect or vice versa.
The ones fron the drive are there but the mating ones from the shifter switch wire are cut off. No one at west marine knows what i'm talking about and i don't even know what they are called.i need 2 of them. Anyone know where to find them or even what they are called.??? Thanks |

I'm not sure what you call them, but I know I have a few. You can probably carefully disassemble one and install it on the wires on your drive.
Let me know where you are and I could prolly just send you one. I've got a heap of old stringer stuff. Trey
