Default Rescue Mission

Ok, we all know the disease cannot be cured...
This coming weekend myself, Jr. and friends are on a mission
to recover a 67 Bowrider !!

My question is on the outdrive in the pic. Can this be manually
released to raise after we dig it out ??

It is over an hour ride from Area 442 and do not want to forget
any and all tools for proper extraction !

Lord forgive me please...

Almost the same drive I yanked from mine.
Unbolt the pin at the aft end of the cyls and the drive will swing if it isn't seized. It is a threaded rod all the way through so you can cut the nuts off and pound as needed. Same thing on the front pin but harder to get at.
There are 6 nuts that hold the drive to the gimbal if it is seized - pull those and you can probably drop the drive off the gimbal.

Looks like they drove it home in "69" after 3 days in Woodstock and parked it. Hasn't moved since
