Default 175 Johnson on a 20 SF

What do you thinks about a 2006 175 Johnson on a 1978 20 SF? The boat currently has an original 150 Merc.

I had a 2003 Johnson 175 on my 1975 20 SF and loved it - actually only weighed 375. A bit on the heavy side but I moved batteries and oil tank to the front of the console. Boat would touch 50 mph with a t-top on a light chop. (downwind)

Thanks for the replies. I was wondering if it may weigh to much but I can move the oil tank and battery to the console. Also planning on installing tabs.

I have a 175 optimax on a 20" sceptre and its perfect. Still dry with 2 people in the back. (ish) and it moves along nicely. I thought it was too much motor for the boat, but its pretty nice to have the extra speed when you can use it.
