1973 23’ Seacraft Yamaha F225

2012 -New transom & hermco bracket installed
90 gallon fuel tank
Fuel fill and vent lines
Water sep/racor system
2 interstate batteries
Complete sea star steering system & re-wired

2016 - fore deck & hatch re-cored ¾ plywood
Gunnell cap removed and re-cored with ¾ plywood
New rub rail
Acron pop up bow cleat 10”
Acron pop up LED bow light
2 midship cleats 8”
2 aft cleats 10”
All hardware is thru bolted with stainless hardware
All holes were sealed with epoxy resin
9 swivel rod holders

Engine
2004 Yamaha F225
1640 hours
Exhaust mid section replaced
Just serviced
TSTATS
all anodes internal and external
Spark plugs
Rebuilt lower unit with extra prop and engine cover.
New water pump and oil pressure sensor August 2018.

Cruises at 27 knots
Gets approximately 2.5 mpg

This boat was Jerry Kissel's "Basshound" before it became "filthy oar" and I'm pretty sure an original member of the "mosquito" fleet. This boat is a true piece of cape cod history.

Thanks. I strayed a bit and bought a T Jason last season. After doing a ton of work I realized a downeast isn’t for me, at least not now. I was pumped to see a boat come up that already had a lot of the major issues squared away. As we all know the glass work adds up and is a pain in the ass!
