Default 82 20' Seacraft Slow Rebuild

Hey All,

Purchased an 82 SF about a year and a half ago from a family in Tequesta. They bought from a former forum member "Mikem8560 " so some may recognize the boat. I had spent the previous couple years taking a 31 Jupiter to new condition with my dad. Once that boat was done my wife and myself began looking for a 20' Seacraft to easily trailer all around Florida and cruise around the river. I have always loved the lines of these boats and thought it would be the perfect setup for our needs. We were looking for one that needed work but was still usable from day 1. Plan from when we bought the boat and still is was to use it for a little, put it on the hard for a little, then repeat until it's finished or she leaves me and takes the boat. I know this method will cause me more work and money then doing it all at once but it seems to fit our needs better. I spent end of 2017 using the boat while re-coring hatches. Mid 2018 I yanked off the console and begun building that how I wanted it. As many have encountered I could have just bought a new console for less then it cost me to rebuild but I have it setup just how I wanted it. I notice alot of people don't care for the size of this console but I really enjoy the added storage and dash space. My goal for the console and the entire boat is clean with a nice fit and finish. I am doing all mods at my house so I'm sure there is a lot of room for improvement. I am farming out the finish painting as I just can't produce the same level of finish. Those guys are masters and can give me the final coat of paint I am looking for. Wedding and new house slowed progress end of 2018 but i'm ready to get back to work. Next step is to get all the interior how I want it (glass repair, re core where needed, new fuel tank, reconfigure deck well into a kill box, and add anchor hatch). I plan to cut some fuel capacity off the back in hopes of shifting more weight to the bow. I plan to repower and I think a 40-50 gal tank should be fine for what I do. Interior will look the same but with no teak and all white. Once that is all complete it will be time for a repower & transom replacement. Still going back and forth on HP and bracket. My mind seems to change weekly and everything I read here on the topic doesn't give me a solid answer yet. Let me know what you think on the work done and i'm always looking for cool ideas.

Below is how the console used to look and progress along the way (still can't figure out the picture rotation).

Pics post paint and install. Sorry again for pic rotation. I'm sure someone can assist with that.
