I cant seem to find this information anywhere online and the dealer cant seem to find it for me either. Hate to have it all painted then have to redo it when the new controls dont cover the existing hole

I'm assuming you are talking binnacle controls. When I went from a Merc to a Honda I cut a 1/2" piece of starboard to 1. cover the old hole nice and neat; 2. to match the template for the new controls. Shoot if you mess up just cut a new piece of starboard Oh yeah, there is a template for the controls for the Suzuki. I got my Honda online. Plus all a dealer has to do is go out and measure the base of the controls. DUH.

I don’t have the measurements right now, but I went from a ‘99 Mercury Optimax to a 300 Suzuki digital controls and the Suzuki controller covers the opening in my dash.

I just measured mine I got 4in wide by 6 3/4in long. FYI this is for the fly by wire single engine binnacle control box.

you sir, are in luck! i could not find the template anywhere online but i received my controls this week. I scanned the template in for you make sure to verify the dimensions are scaled properly when you print in case anything is off from the settings of my scanner and your printer. the template has both single and twin engine fly by wire binnacles
