Default Seafari 25 hard top for sale

I'm replacing my current Seafari 25 hard top with a 3-sided pilot house. $975.00 local pickup Hampton Roads, VA and general vicinity.

Hard top came with boat when I purchased it. I've had it out in the Chesapeake Bay and offshore more than once in small craft advisories - there is very little side-to-side rake but hull sides are reinforced with 1/2" board at the mounting points.

Clearance underneath is 88" under the doubler below the radar mount, 90" everywhere else to cockpit floor (not the cabin step down). If I had kept it and had clears sewn, I would have lowered 10" to 12" which is easily doable by cutting and re-welding to the hull mounting pads. I would have also replaced the 1/4" pvc board with 1.5" nida-core'd or foam-cored hard top which would make the top walkable when conditions allowed. Would be perfect for the 25 for sale in So. Florida...

Windows will be removed shortly... free for local pickup.

I would love to get that for my 25, which just has a radar arch.

Shipping would be a real challenge, I imagine.

Here is the top in a 5' X 10' trailer. I am regularly in Delaware and Annapolis. I could meet in the area for anyone in the northeast who is looking.

Bigshrimpin - I'll start a post in the repairs / mods forum and add some better pictures at some point. I was hoping to sea trial before the word got out. In the meantime, here are a few pictures. It's 3/4" carbon core honeycomb. I tried to keep it as light as possible, I know I'm a guinea pig and vertical center of gravity could be an issue. Top has a layer of 17oz on the bottom/inside and 2 layers of 17oz on top and outside (very top layer is 1708 with mat facing out to protect from jig heads bouncing off of it), set in epoxy. Added small 'stringers' to the underside at 20" on center - maybe overkill, but the engineer at carbon core said it got the roof to the needed capacity for walking around up there (no deflection). I glassed in rod holders under the gunnels and there is a rod holder section where the back of the house meets the cap on both sides. It glasses the inside of the cap, the hull side, and liner down to the floor which is also re-cored. We'll see if it is rigid enough. The top doesn't move. It's not in the water yet. Welder has it for rails and rod holders before I finish non-slip and install the windows.

Ulf - the old hard top is still available. I sent a PM with my number if you'd like to discuss live.
