Default Calling Hynautic Pros

Gents - anyone know what this is? This is plumbed into the steering system. Looks like a motor on top and pump below, connected by sprocket & chain. Umm? Also any tips on charging this system up to see if it works? What kind of oil can I get by with? Thanks for the help.

I would guess a old auto helm of some type if there’s wiring connections to it

The silver/aluminum rectangular box with the hydraulic hoses attached is the relief valve for the steering system. Agree that the rest of it appears to be an old auto pilot drive unit. Not sure of the specs on the hydraulic fluid to use but think you've been given good advice on who to contact to sort this out, good luck.
