Default Overhead box

Like normal couldn’t find a box with the right dimensions for my boat so I’ve been plugging away at one. Have to do some touch up on the gell coat as I had some alligators in It. Thought I would start on the cover. Using some of the 3/4” Plasteak left over. Going to put a plexiglass mirror in the frame then a pc of black plexiglass to protect the mirror inside from damage.

Picked up the plastic for the insert in the cover yesterday. Did sort of a Gell coat primer the other day( pin holes in the fiberglass) will sand it lightly and correct small issues and hopefully do Finish gell coat asap.
Hey couldn’t believe I didn’t see anything on the news over here on the Earth Quake you guys had the other day (6.4)? Volcano go air but an earthquake? Guess there wasn’t much or any damage ?

There’s bunches of earthquakes every day due to volcano but we normally don’t feel them. That was a big one though. Shook us pretty good. No real damage.

Keep on keeping on.

Well got the box finished and installed. Nice to be able to just glance up and see boats or lures behind me . Installed two smaller white/red lights ,the remote speaker for the VHF( really needed it) and relocated the vhf inside . Very happy how my project turned out! No on to the next project — installing a 5 gl. Fresh water tank below the front storage locker, connecting to a 3way valve for salt or freshwater washdown.
