Default Seacraft sinking in Woods Hole?

Does anyone know anything about the seacraft that sank near hadleys harbor last weekend? Heard that it was a new Yamaha, possibly that the transom failed, which was redone last winter by a company on the cape. What a bummer. I hope everyone is safe.

I think some folks were concerned that it might be me (since I have a new transom...), and then I texted a few folks who I was worried it might be, but anyway everyone seems have their transoms in order.

I hope everyone is OK, and that the owners know that there's a whole website of weirdos (that's us) who would be more than willing to give advice on how and why to put it back together, correctly.

That’s a tough spot to go down. Have a friend that keeps his GW in Eel Pond at the other end of Woods Hole. See if he heard anything. All of us “preservationists” are protective of the fleet. Let us know if you hear anything.
